Dömörkapu Waterfall

Numerous springs emerge on the slopes of the 587-meter-high Bölcső Hill, with the Lajos Spring being the most abundant and well-known among them. A well-marked road from Szentendre leads up to the spring, where a dedicated parking area awaits visitors. The hike to Dömörkapu should be started by following the green triangle trail marker.

By car, turn off Main Road 11 onto Szentlászlói Road; from there, the parking lot at Lajos Spring is approximately 10-15 minutes away. On foot, this same journey takes approximately 2 hours. Buses depart from Szentendre Bus Station and travel to Dömörkapu, a journey of approximately 8.2 km and 20 minutes.
