Leányfalu - Thermal Bath

The beach established on the banks of the Danube, the Leányfalu Thermal Bath, welcomes sunbathers and bathers alike all year round with its ancient shade-giving trees and large, open green areas. The primary treasure of this bath, nestled in a wonderful green setting along the Danube, is the medicinal water gushing from the depths of the earth. Guests seeking coolness can relax under the ancient shade trees within the beach area, while expansive, open green spaces also await sun worshippers.

In the 500 square meter warm water adventure pool, automatically operating neck showers, back massagers, and bubble beds pamper our guests. Excellent water quality is ensured by modern water circulation technology. For children, the kids’ pool, complete with water-spouting dolphins and slides, along with an exciting playground, offers an unforgettable experience. For sports enthusiasts, the beach area also features a sandy football and handball court. The main building houses heated changing rooms and washrooms for the winter season. From here, a heated pathway leads to the two warm water pools.

A bathing cure in the bath’s medicinal water is expected to alleviate symptoms and promote healing for patients suffering from musculoskeletal conditions. The water from the 1008-meter-deep well has a temperature of 53.4 degrees Celsius. This well water is classified as a calcium-magnesium-hydrogen-carbonate-sulfate mineral water. The open-air adventure pool and medicinal pool are open all year round. Following the installation of a protective cover, the 50-meter swimming pool will open at 6:00 AM on November 2, 2021. From this date until spring, the outdoor beach pool will not be available for use.
